Finally!
It took us three tries, but we finally found a neurologist that listened and took time to explain. We started out right around us and were then directed to Chicago and several weeks ago we ended up on the east side of the state. While the diagnosis had not changed much, bedside manner makes a huge difference. The neurologist helped us understand the diagnosis a little better.
The main diagnosis is Parkinsonism with a symptom of Ataxia. He also said that many of my symptoms were positive for MSA (Multi-System Atrophy). No matter what, I am still young for it and was encouraged to stay active. I must keep doing physical therapy and speech therapy exercises I was given.
It is difficult to stay positive at all times amid the diagnosis and unfortunately there is not a cure. In the meantime, I stumble forward one day at a time. With the help and encouragement with those near me I am quite lucky.
